A live poker table streams a real dealer and physical cards from a studio to your screen in real time. You place bets through the interface, and the dealer manages the deck, board and pot on camera—no random-number generator, every card visible as it's turned.

The small blind and big blind are forced bets posted by the two players to the dealer's left before any cards are dealt. They seed the pot and ensure action each hand; the big blind is usually double the small blind, and both rotate clockwise after every round.

Showdown happens when two or more players remain after the final betting round. Each reveals their hole cards, and the dealer compares hands using the five community cards on the board—the highest-ranking combination takes the pot, with ties splitting it equally.

Folding means you surrender your hand and forfeit any claim to the current pot. You discard your cards face-down, exit the round, and cannot win that pot—used when your hand is weak or the bet size makes continuing unprofitable.

A side pot forms when one player is all-in and others continue betting beyond that amount. The all-in player can only win the main pot; additional bets go into the side pot, which only the players who matched those bets can claim at showdown.

Checking means you pass the action to the next player without betting, keeping your cards and staying in the hand. You can only check when no bet has been made in the current round; once someone bets, you must call, raise or fold.
